Foldque
Foldque is an educational platform for saving questions and solutions, reviewing them, and collaborating through selected sharing features. Our goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and lawful environment. Everyone using Foldque must follow these rules.
1. Copyright, Intellectual Property, and the Right to Share
Upload and share only content that you are legally permitted to use in the manner you choose. Educational use does not automatically authorize reproduction or public distribution of third-party works.
Do not systematically copy, upload, distribute, or make publicly available all or substantial portions of copyrighted books, question banks, paid educational materials, publisher practice exams, course materials, or teacher/institution materials without authorization. If a rights holder submits a valid infringement notice, Foldque may restrict access to or remove the relevant material.
2. Visibility and Responsible Sharing
Foldque may offer personal, limited-sharing, and public features. Before sharing or publishing content, make sure you understand the visibility option you selected and that you have the necessary rights to use the content at that level of visibility.
Content that you expressly make public may appear on Foldque’s public web pages and may be crawled, cached, or indexed by search engines. Content shared only with selected users or groups is not made public solely because it was shared through a limited-access feature.
3. Personal Information and Privacy
Do not place personal or sensitive information in question or solution content unless it is genuinely necessary and lawful to do so. Before uploading a question image, solution image, drawing, explanation, note, or message, remove, crop, blur, or otherwise conceal unnecessary information such as full names, faces, phone numbers, email addresses, home or school addresses, student numbers, signatures, government identification numbers, health information, or similar personal or sensitive data.
Do not upload or share another person’s personal data without an appropriate lawful basis or permission. To the extent permitted by applicable law, users are responsible for unlawful personal-data disclosures they make through their content. This rule does not remove Foldque’s own obligations under applicable data protection law.
4. Exam Security and Confidential Materials
Do not share questions from ongoing, incomplete, embargoed, or otherwise confidential examinations, and do not use Foldque to compromise exam security or unlawfully disclose confidential educational material.
5. Child Safety, Harassment, and Bullying
Content or conduct that endangers children is not tolerated. Threats, blackmail, cyberbullying, harassment, sexual exploitation, grooming, or other abusive conduct toward users is prohibited. Educational discussions must remain respectful.
6. Hate Speech, Violence, and Inappropriate Content
Do not post content that promotes hatred or unlawful discrimination based on protected characteristics, glorifies or encourages violence or self-harm, or contains prohibited pornographic, sexually exploitative, or otherwise unlawful obscene content.
7. Spam, Fraud, and Platform Abuse
Do not use Foldque for phishing, fraud, deceptive schemes, malicious software distribution, automated abuse, disruptive spam, unauthorized scraping, or attempts to bypass security, quotas, access controls, or moderation systems.
8. Reporting and Content Moderation
Users may report content or accounts that appear to violate these rules using available reporting tools. Intellectual property notices may also be submitted through our Copyright and Intellectual Property Infringement Notice Policy.
Content may be evaluated through automated systems, user reports, and, where appropriate, manual review. However:
- No moderation system can guarantee immediate or perfect detection of every violation.
- A report does not automatically require removal of content or termination of an account; Foldque evaluates reports based on the available information, these rules, and applicable legal obligations.
9. Enforcement
Where these rules are violated, Foldque may limit visibility, disable access, remove content, restrict features, or temporarily suspend or permanently terminate an account, depending on the seriousness and repetition of the conduct and applicable law.
