Foldque
Foldque is a platform where students and educators come together to help each other. Our goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and legally compliant environment for everyone. Every individual using the application is required to comply with the rules below.
1. Copyright and Right to Share
Only upload content that you have the right to share. The educational purpose of the application does not give you the right to upload third-party works without permission. Copyrighted books, paid educational materials, publisher practice exams, or teacher/institution materials may not be shared without permission.
2. Personal Information and Privacy
Sharing someone else's personal data without a legal basis is prohibited. It is entirely your responsibility to ensure that the question or note images uploaded to the platform do not contain information such as a person's name, surname, face, phone number, email address, home/school address, student number, signature, or national ID number, or that they are cropped/hidden before being uploaded.
3. Exam Security
It is prohibited to share questions from ongoing, incomplete, or confidential exams, or to create content that violates exam security in this manner.
4. Child Safety, Harassment, and Bullying
No content endangering child safety is tolerated. Insults, threats, blackmail, cyberbullying, or harassing behaviors directed at other users are prohibited. Discussions must remain within an educational framework and be respectful.
5. Hate Speech, Violence, and Sexual Content
Content spreading hate speech based on characteristics such as race, religion, language, gender, sexual orientation, or disability may not be shared. Uploading content that promotes violence, encourages self-harm, or contains pornography, nudity, or obscenity is strictly prohibited.
6. Spam and Fraud
Using the platform for advertising, phishing, fraud, spam (repetitive meaningless posts), or malware distribution is prohibited.
7. Reporting System and Content Moderation
Users have the right to report disturbing content or users who violate the rules using the Report button.
Content may be evaluated through automated systems, user reports, and, when necessary, manual reviews. However:
- There is no guarantee that any moderation system will detect all violations instantly and 100%.
- There is no guarantee that every report made will result in an absolute outcome, such as the direct removal of the content or the closure of the account; Foldque evaluates the report in accordance with existing rules, available information, and applicable obligations.
8. Sanctions
In case of a violation of these rules, Foldque may hide the relevant content, block access to it, or delete it entirely. Depending on the severity or repetition of the violation, the user's use of platform features may be restricted, or their account may be temporarily suspended or permanently terminated.
